Professional 4xBigBlue 10" set for mounting on the main water pipe in a residential building.

The set includes:

- Four BB 10" housings (connection 3/4" GW)
- frame for housings and screws
- housing wrench
- 20-micron nylon cartridge (washable)
- 5-micron polypropylene foam cartridge, type GW-PS5-BB10
- carbon cartridge, type GW-BL-BB10
- water softening cartridge with exchangeable resin (you can regenerate the media or replace it), model GW-SOFT-BB10
 

Cartridges Application:

1. 20-micron nylon cartridge—a cartridge designed for rinsing, removes mechanical impurities largen than 20 microns.
2. Polypropylene 5-micron cartridge—model GW-PS5-BB10: the cartridge thoroughly removes mechanical impurities found in water. It protects the installation against contamination entering the water network during daily use or failure.
3. Carbon cartridge—model GW-BL-BB10: the cartridge is made of high quality active carbon. Removes chemical impurities resulting from chlorination of water. In addition, the cartridge removes pesticides and detergents and their derivatives found in municipal and well water.
4. Water softening cartridge—model GW-SOFT-BB10: a cartridge removing hardness of water. It is filled with Purolite C100E softening resin removing calcium carbonate from the water.
The cartridge is openable, easy replacement or regeneration of the media ensures cheaper operation.
In order to properly assess water quality, a water hardness test can be performed.

Recommended replacement of cartridges No. 2 and 3: every 6 months.
Recommended replacement or regeneration of the softening media: as required (depends on the hardness and amount of water used)
Recommended water flow: up to 12 liters per minute

The set is assembled and ready for installation. We recommend using ball valves before and after the filter set—they will facilitate periodic replacement of cartridges. The seals are made with Loctite technical thread.
