Filter media refill for the Anti Scale filter series.
The Anti Scale filter media is the new technology of water treatment. It was successfully used for several years throughout the western markets, including places in the United States, where the regulations on the discharge of pollutants into the sewage system are very restrictive (for example, sodium chloride-regenerated water softeners cannot be used over there).

The media is sold in the form of milky-white crystal balls with a diameter of approx. 2 cm. The media dissolves very slowly and prevents scale build-up and corrosion of the plumbing. The Anti Scale media is made of of sodium polyphosphate and calcium oxide. The ingredients are melted altogether at high temperature (1200 ℃ - 1700 ℃).

As the media slowly dissolves, it reacts with the calcium carbonate and magnesium compounds in water and covers them with a nano-micron (30-80) coating. The calcium carbonate thus loses the ability to bind and does not accumulate in the plumbing. The Anti Scale media also 'cleans' the plumbing by reducing the deposits already embedded in it, but it is a slow process.
