Filter cartridge for the MTP-10BF (KBF-01A) filter.

4-stage water filtration in the cartridge:

1. Carbon from coconut shells (treated with acid):
More effective than a regular carbon filter - it stops the growth of bacteria, effectively removes odour, colour and chlorine, and absorbs organic substances present in water.
2. Calcium sulphite granulate: the media is antibacterial and highly effective; the media is heat resistant and can increase the pH of the water, making it alkaline.
3. KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion): high purity alloy of copper and zinc, it can precisely remove from water any heavy metals and acidic ion radicals. In addition to that, the KDF media remove chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulphide, lead, mercury, calcium carbonate, magnesium, chromium, bacteria, algae and fungi.
4. Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane: Effectively binds harmful substances, such as bacteria (e.g. E. coli) and colloidal suspension present in water. The pores in the membrane stop particles sized 0.001 – 0.1 µm.

Recommended replacement: after every 3000 Litres of water or 12/24 months
